Army Heritage Center Golf Course

The Carlisle Barracks Golf Course is one of the finest in Cumberland Valley and will host the Sam Gitt Memorial Golf Tournament. It measures over 6300 yards, has a par 72, and is fully irrigated, with a normal golfing season from April - November. It also features a recently constructed practice facility that includes a driving range, practice putting green, and a green with a bunker.
For an enjoyable dining experience the clubhouse has the 19th Hole Snackbar, which offers a wide variety of great food and beverages. Whether you are military or civilian, you will enjoy the fine recreational facility at historic Carlisle Barracks -- The Showplace of the U.S. Army.

The Sam Gitt Memorial Golf Tournament

The Sam Gitt Golf Tournament will be used to raise funds for the Samuel E. Gitt Scholarship Fund and the Sam Gitt Memorial Fund which supports children and young adults in the local communities who are suffering from catastrophic illnesses.

Our 13th Annual Sam Gitt Memorial Golf Tournament will be held on August 1, 2026, at The Rich Valley Golf Course, Mechanicsburg, PA.
The Sam Gitt Memorial Golf Tournament has become a cherished tradition in our community, bringing together golf enthusiasts and supporters of the Sam Gitt Memorial for a day of friendly competition and camaraderie. The funds raised from this event are crucial in helping us continue our mission to provide scholarships at Boiling Springs High School and to help our young adults and children in the local area who are in need.
